The Happy Family Rwanda Organization (HFRO), in collaboration with the UNESCO through the Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future (O3) Programme, is implementing a capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the ability of health professionals and local leaders in Nyarugenge District to address pressing public health and social challenges.
The project focuses on enhancing knowledge and practical skills related to the prevention and response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV), HIV, and Early and Unintended Pregnancy (EUP).
By bringing together community health workers, environmental health officers, district officials, and other key stakeholders, the initiative promotes a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach to service delivery and community engagement.
Through targeted training sessions, participants are equipped with updated information, effective prevention strategies, and best practices for providing survivor-centered care, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes, stronger protection systems, and more resilient communities.
